High School Musical 4 Script Piece Released & Merit Leighton Up for Lead Role
Auditions are on for Disney Channel’s High School Musical 4 and with it comes a glimpse at the upcoming movie’s script. The role is for a character named, Peyton and, from the looks of it, the crew has already found some ways to slip in some High School Musical nods.
Auditions are taking place online right now! They will be accepting online auditions until May 2 and on May 15 they will be having open auditions in Anaheim. To read the audition piece click here.
Also, rumor has it Merit Leighton is already being considered for one of the female leads. Apparently, the female lead characters are Erin, a soccer player who strives for excellence—and the only girl on the boys’ team; Nathalie is East High’s biggest fan, a loyal, outgoing cheerleader and big-hearted BFF to Erin; and Tamara East High’s former queen bee, who is attempting to climb back up the social ladder and reclaim all the attention for herself.
