Melissa Benoist and Bailee Madison Attend the 3rd Annual College Signing Day

Melissa Benoist and Bailee Madison attended the 3rd Annual College Signing Day today, April 26 in New York City. Held at the Harlem Armory and hosted by MTV, the girls were at the event to help promote First Lady Michelle Obama’s Reach Higher initiative.

The initiative encourages young people to continue their education past high school. Bailee was joined onstage during the show by Jidenna and Ted Allen, while Melissa was joined by Allison Williams.

Melissa is just one of many stars who have continued their education after high school. She attended Marymount Manhattan College in NYC, where she graduated with a degree in 2011. Bailee, however, is only 16, so she will begin her college search next year, if she hasn’t done so already.
