The Met Gala was held last night, May 2, in New York City and many of our favorite young stars came out for fashion’s biggest night of the year. This year’s theme revolved around Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology and the competition was tough, but we have narrowed down our favorite looks.

Emma Stone’s Prada gown was a refreshing sight on the newly brunette actress. Emma looked comfortable and relaxed in a dress that could have very well swallowed her up and the fact that this is a bolder look from her than we’re use to seeing was a pleasant surprise.

Emma Watson’s custom Calvin Klein outfit was a different approach to the theme, which landed her on our list. Created from recycled plastic bottles and organic cotton, each individual piece proved technology in the fashion industry comes in many different forms.

Claire Danes’ custom Zac Posen was a great mix of haute couture and technology, the LED lights under the gown were a nice touch. Claire’s dress was everything Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology should be and more.

Nina Dobrev’s Marchesa gown also made our list this year. From the fine detail to the stunning embroidery, Nina looked every inch a Disney princess going to her first fairy tale ball.

Kristen Stewart and Zendaya also earn spots on this year’s list, because of their makeup and hair. Zendaya’s sleek sort do really caught our eye. The style looked perfect on Zendaya and gave her a very futuristic look.

For Kristen, her flawless makeup, done by Jillian Dempsey, is what really caught our eye. The smoky eye with the silver shadow really emphasized the futuristic theme.

Let us know who wore your favorite look from last night!
