Olivia Holt & Ross Lynch Land Roles In The Film Status Update

Olivia Holt and Ross Lynch have landed new roles. The two young actors are set to star in the new coming of age film, Status Update, from Scott Speer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, this new film is “about a teenager (Lynch) who, after being uprooted by his parents’ separation and forced to move, stumbles upon a magical app that causes his social media updates to come true. After becoming the hero of his new high school, his newfound power starts to cause all sorts of problem, sending him crashing back down to earth.”

Production on their film will begin this June and Voltage Pictures hopes to have the film out next year!
