Demi Lovato Performs at AOL Access and Attends First and Last Met Gala?
Demi Lovato performed at the AOL Access event in New York City last night, May 3. The singer performed songs from her most recent album, including “Confident” and “Cool for the Summer”.
This past Monday, May 2, Demi attended the 2016 Met Gala and apparently didn’t have that good of a time. The singer took to her Instagram yesterday and posted a photo of herself, Nicki Minaj and designer, Jeremy Scott at the event with the caption, “This picture pretty much summed up my first and probably last met 😂😂😂 #cool #sofuckingawkward #notforme #sweatpants #forensicfiles #whatsgood p.s. some of y’all need to learn how to take a joke.. I’m obviously laughing at the fact that 1. I look incredibly awkward and 2. That the shade being thrown in this picture actually gives me life 🙌🏼😂”.
The last half of the caption pertains to an Instagram photo Nicki posted of the trio as well, which Nicki did not tag Demi in. Many fans thought that Demi was making fun of the rapper after she didn’t tag her in the photo, especially since she posted the below photo to her Snapchat. However, Demi wanted to reassure everyone she was just joking.
I wonder why it was so awkward for Demi. Rumor has it she only walked the carpet, so I wonder what happened. The two Instagram photos can be found under the jump. What do you guys think?
