Taylor Swift surprised a fan on his wedding day today, June 4, in Colorado. The young singer looked to be in wonderful spirits as she sang an acoustic version of “Blank Space” before mingling with the newlyweds.

The groom’s sister reached out to Taylor earlier this year in a letter that spoke about the death of her mother and how much of a fan her brother and mother were of Taylor. The letter went on to say that he and his wife had gotten married in the hospital room before their mother passed away and that “Blank Space” was the groom and his mother’s first dance song. In honor of all this, Taylor decided to surprise him with her appearance.
