Yara Shahidi Participates In The SAG-AFTRA “Produced by 2016” Panel

Yara Shahidi attended the SAG-AFTRA “Produced by 2016” panel presentation today, June 4, in Los Angeles. The young star was on hand to take part in the Social Change and the Box Office discussion alongside Octavia Spencer.

During the discussion, Yara spoke about representation of minorities in the media and movies, the color of her skin not being her defining characteristic, and so much more. Yara also spoke about gender equality and the gender parity.
