Zendaya Wraps Day 2 of Spider-Man: Homecoming Filming

Zendaya continued work on her new movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming yesterday, June 21 in Atlanta. Her costar, Laura Harrier, released a video of her, Zendaya and Tony Revolori leaving set after working on Day 2 of the new Marvel movie.

Apparently, Zendaya has been listed as playing a character named, Michelle. Now this could be Michele Gonzales, who appears in the Spider-Man comics as Peter Parker’s roommate and minor love interest, but nothing has been confirmed.

It will be interesting to see if this is indeed the character Zendaya is playing. Not much is known about Michelle’s upbringing, as she was introduced as an adult in the series, so they really could do something fun with the character. It would also be a different set up from the past Spider-Man movies, as the female lead would not be Mary Jane Watson or Gwen Stacy.
