Selena Gomez To Announce Something Big?

It looks as though Selena Gomez will be announcing some big news soon. The young singer has blacked out her Twitter avatar causing many to speculate that something is in the works.

In recent years, many young musicians have taken to replacing their social media icons with a blacked out avatar to hype fans for the release of a new single, album, or project. Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas have done this and in the past so has Selena.

Selena did mention that she was almost done her second album today, June 24. The singer has released 5 albums in total, but this will be the second one with Interscope Records. This could mean that she plans to announce a date for the release of her first single off the album or maybe she will just drop the single in its entirety.

Only time will tell.
