Katherine McNamara Begins Preparations for Shadowhunters Season 2

Katherine McNamara has begun preparations for the second season of Shadowhunters. Katherine met up with Season 2 director, Matt Hastings to chat about the upcoming season and has begun weapons training.

Production on the second season is set to begin on August 8 in Toronto. It will apparently wrap in May of 2017, which means we may be getting a “A” and “B” second season. However, nothing has been confirmed by Freeform.

The show was originally suppose to begin filming on July 25, but they pushed it back. No word why, but production originally was suppose to wrap in November, so it may have been pushed back because of the longer production schedule.
