MTV Announces 2016 Video Music Award Nominees
MTV has released the nominees for the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards today, July 26. The show will take place in New York City on Sunday, August 28.
Justin Bieber received video for “Sorry” received two nominations, “Video of the Year” and “Best Pop Video” and “Purpose: The Movement” received a nomination for “Breakthrough Long Form” video, while Ariana Grande’s “Into You” also received two nominations, one for “Best Female Video” and the other for “Best Pop Video” and her video for “Let Me Love You” featuring Lil Wayne recieved a nomination for “Best Collaboration”.
Fall Out Boy’s “Irresistible” featuring Demi Lovato was nominated for “Best Rock Video” and DNCE was nominated for “Best New Artist”. Fifth Harmony’s “Work from Home” featuring Ty Dolla $ign also recieved a nomination for “Best Collaboration”.
On the professional side, Zayn’s “Pillowtalk” was nominated for “Best Visual Effects” and Ariana’s “Into You” was nominated for “Best Editing” and “Best Cinematography”. Voting is open NOW, so get to voting!
