Nina Dobrev in Talks for The Vampire Diaries Series Finale Return

The CW’s president,  Mark Pedowitz revealed to press at the CW’s TCA Summer Press day today, August 11 that Nina Dobrev is currently in talks to return for The Vampire Diaries’ series finale.

It was announced at San Diego Comic Con that the show’s upcoming eighth season would be its last, which immediately got fans wondering if Ms. Dobrev would be returning for the final season. After departing the series after its sixth season, creator Julie Plec told fans that Nina would return for the show’s finale, but now that it is here we will have to see if she does indeed return.

However, if the talks do not go through Julie Plec does have something else planned for the finale. If Nina does decide to return for the finale how would you like to see her return?
