Happy Birthday Marsai Martin! Today, August 14 is Marsai’s 12th birthday and what a year it has been for the birthday girl.

In her 11th year, Marsai premiered the second season of her hit ABC show black-ish and began work on the show’s third season. She appeared in the short Lemonade Mafia, appeared on a number of magazine covers with her black-ish costars, and her show received a nomination for Outstanding Comedy at the Emmys.

In her 12th year, she will premiere the show’s third season and will attend the EMMY awards with her cast.
