Thomas Doherty Joins Descendants 2 as the Son of Captain Hook

Disney Channel has announced the newest character to be joining its next original movie, Descendants 2! The character will be Harry, the son of Captain Hook.

Harry will be played by Thomas Doherty, who will join already announced China McClain, playing Uma the daughter of Ursula, as two of the three newcomers featured in the TV movie. Casting news for the child of Beauty and the Beast’s Gaston has yet to be announced.

Harry and China will join Descendants alums Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart and Sofia Carson in the sequel. Rehearsals for the movie are already underway and filming is set to begin in Vancouver in September.

The movie will premiere on the network in 2017!
