Promo and Premiere Date for Marsai Martin’s Movie An American Girl Story – Melody 1963: Love Has to Win Released

Amazon has announced the official release date for Marsai Martin’s new movie, An American Girl Story – Melody 1963: Love Has to Win. The movie will be released on Amazon Prime on Friday, October 21.

In the movie, “Driven by her strong sense of justice and encouraged by her mother to lift her voice, Melody must find the inner strength to restore her hope for a better world.”

Melody’s movie is the first of four original American Girl specials that will be released on the streaming site. I can’t wait to watch this one. I loved the American Girl dolls growing up, so it is nice to see them transitioning them to more than just the dolls and books.
