Shailene Woodley Honored at the Environmental Media Association EMA Awards

Shailene Woodley attended the Environmental Media Association EMA Awards tonight, October 22 in Los Angeles. Held at the Warner Bros. Studio lot, Shailene was at the event to accept the Female EMA Futures Award.

Shailene received the award for her involvement in social and environmental issues, including the recent protests over the Dakota Pipeline Access project in North Dakota. Shailene recently had in a run in with the law reagrding the Dakota Pipeline, which resulted to her arrest.

The star was released after pleading not guilty to trespassing charges during a recent protest over the Pipeline.
