Lauren Jauregui Arrested in Virginia

Lauren Jauregui may not be making it to Brazil for Fifth Harmony’s performance at the Fun Pop Fun Festival. Lauren was arrested at Dulles Airport in Virginia last night, December 13, for possession of marijuana.

TMZ is reporting, “Lauren was stopped at a TSA checkpoint and forced to submit to a secondary search, when a TSA staffer found what appeared to be a bag of marijuana in her carry-on luggage. Cops were flagged down in the terminal and they promptly arrested the singer.”

No word on if Lauren has made it to Brazil for the performance, but we do know the other four members made it. We will have to see if she is there when the girls perform later today.

UPDATE: Lauren was not at the girls’ performance today. However, her lawyer did speak out and say “Lauren Jauregui was not arrested and detained as reported, but simply given a citation for possession of marijuana and released on her own recognizance. She will address the matter appropriately through the legal system. This will not interfere with any future scheduled performances or activities.”
