Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane, Ally Brooke and Normani Kordei Speak Out on Camila Cabello’s Exit from Fifth Harmony
Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane, Ally Brooke and Normani Kordei are speaking out one last time in regards to the recent exit of Camila Cabello from Fifth Harmony. The girls all took to their Instagrams and posted the same statement setting the record straight on what exactly went down between Camila and the girls over the past couple of months.
In the statement, the foursome reveal “Over the past several months we have consistently made every effort to sit down and discuss the future of Fifth Harmony with Camila. We have spent the past year and a half (since her initial solo endeavor) trying to communicate to her and her team all of the reasons why we felt Fifth Harmony deserved at least one more album of her time, given the success of this past year that we’d all worked so hard for”.
They go on to say that they tried scheduling group meetings, meetings with the label and group counseling, but she refused every one. The girls were finally informed that she would be leaving the group in mid November and her last performance as a Fifth Harmony member would be December 18.
The girls do say that they are staying positive and thank their fans for all their support.
What do you guys think of the girls’ statement?
