Normani Kordei Covers Solange’s Singles “Don’t Touch My Hair” and “Cranes in the Sky”

Normani Kordei released her own cover of Solange’s hit singles, “Don’t Touch My Hair” and “Cranes in the Sky” today, January 5. The young singer unveiled the covers to help promote the new solo chapter in her life.

Normani spoke with USA Today about the cover stating, “I was inspired by Solange’s album, A Seat At The Table, from the moment that I heard it. She has clearly taken the time to create a unique body of work and emote through her music from a true place.”

Now there is no need to panic, Fifth Harmony fans. Normani went onto say that Fifth Harmony still has plans to release a new album this year while the girls work on their own solo careers as well.
