Thank You Girl Meets World!

Girl Meets World will be airing its series finale on Disney Channel tonight, January 20 and, although we think it is ending far too soon, we can’t help but look back on the three amazing seasons it has had.

Over its three seasons, the show has taught kids, and even some adults, an array of different life lessons. Lessons like accepting our flaws because it doesn’t matter what’s on the outside, but what’s on the inside that counts. It had an episode dedicated to autism and an episode dedicated to gender equality. It had episodes that focused on teenage love and episodes that focused on the bond between friends. Just like its parent show, Boy Meets World, it delved into topics not really touched upon and was able to do it in a way that was entertaining to all.

I know I speak for everyone here at BeautifulBallad when I say we are going to really miss this show. Thank you to the cast and crew for three amazing seasons of making us laugh and cry. For teaching us lessons and touching on topics that hit close to home. You brought old fans back into the home of the Matthews’ family and made new fans along the way. Thank you for introducing us to Riley, Maya, Lucas and Farkle and thank you for reminding us why we love Cory and Topanga.

Here’s hoping that tonight’s episode will not be a goodbye forever, but a see you soon. Riley Matthews’ journey is far from over and I hope to one day revisit it.
