REVIEW: Fans Of The Fosters Are In For A Wild Ride During The Mid-Season Premiere
Fans are in for a wild ride during the mid-season premiere of The Fosters. The episode kicks off right where the finale left off with Callie out searching for Mariana and Jesus on the way to the hospital. However, within minutes things take a turn for the worse and are characters are thrust into an emotional rollercoaster that has more downs than ups.
As the episode progresses, the fans find Brandon back in a depressed state, which only Lena can break him from and Jude going to extreme measure to get alone with Noah. However, if fans things can’t get worse than the first few minutes, they do, and we find everyone waiting to hear some desperate news at the hospital.
As far as mid-season finale’s go, The Fosters manages to do a good job of keeping the pace from last season, maybe even too good of a pace. It feels almost at times as though the characters are trying to out shock one another with every step they make, but this creative direction is a definite win for fans. As for most premieres on this show, this one will not let you down. It will have you biting your nails until the very last second. Now if only we didn’t have to wait a week to find out what happens next
