Yara Shahidi attended the Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles this evening, February 23. The young actress opted for a fun black dress and updo for the blue carpet event.
Yara is at this year’s event as one of the magazine’s honorees. Yara was chosen as the 2017 “Generation Next Award” honoree for all of her work on black-ish and her activism that has spanned the globe through the use social media.
