BB Exclusive: The Cast Of Beauty & the Beast Dazzles at LA Press Conference

The global press conference for Disney’s Beauty And The Beast was held yesterday, March 5, in Los Angeles. Stars of the film, Emma Watson (Belle), Dan Stevens( The Beast), Luke Evans (Gaston), Josh Gad (LeFou), Audra McDonald (Madame de Garderobe), and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Plumette), along with composer Alan Menken and director Bill Condon were on hand to chat about their exciting new film.

Before the press conference even began Alan Menken surprised the audience with a performance of songs from the Disney classic. Towards the end of the presentation, Alan asked Josh and Luke to join him at the piano to help him sing the film’s version of “Gaston”.

After the musical presentation, the rest of the cast and crew took the stage to answer a variety of questions including how they reacted when they were cast, the initial table read, and their experiences from filming.

We will unveil all of the stories and tidbits over the next few days in anticipation of the film’s release!

Beauty And The Beast opens in theaters on March 17.
