Riverdale’s Ashleigh Murray helped celebrate Cosmopolitan’s new editor in chief, Michele Promaulayko last night, March 7 in New York City. The star took to her Instagram to share a tiny video from the party and her reaction to Riverdale’s renewal.

Ashleigh has been in NYC for the past couple of weeks enjoying her hiatus from the show. When shooting on the first season wrapped, Ashleigh and her cast mates went on hiatus not knowing if the show would be renewed and now she can breathe a sigh of relief as the CW announced its renewal yesterday.

I am so happy that this show got renewed and that we will be seeing Ashleigh again next season!
