Zendaya dropped by Capitol Studios in Hollywood yesterday, March 8. The young singer/actress was at the studios as part of Verizon’s #WeNeedMore campaign, which “…encourage students to explore the many career possibilities that exist within STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields.”
During her visit, Zendaya, with the help of her audio engineer Joshua Florez, took kids behind the scenes of what it takes to put a record together. Zendaya spoke about why she joined the campaign during her visit stating, “Usually anything with young people really inspires me, but this directly affects young people in school, and especially in the underserved and underprivileged communities. I think that’s so important because that’s where my parents taught.”
