Demi Lovato Celebrates 5 Years Sober with Charity Donations

So grateful. It's been quite the journey. So many ups and downs. So many times I wanted to relapse but sat on my hands and begged God to relieve the obsession. I'm so proud of myself but I couldn't have done it without my higher power (God), my family, friends, and everyone else who supported me. Feeling humbled and joyful today. Demi Lovato celebrated her five years of being sober by giving back on Friday, March 17. The singer drove to five different charities in the Los Angeles area to drop off checks donating money.

Demi visited Paid on Foot LA, Ace of Hearts (an animal rescue foundation), and Food on Foot LA. She also shared the milestone on her Instagram saying, “Feeling humbled and joyful today. Thank you guys for sticking by my side and believing in me”.

What a wonderful way to commemorate such a big occasion!
