Cast of Riverdale Take Part in First Season 2 Table Read

The cast of Riverdale had their first table read for Season 2 yesterday, June 20 in Vancouver. Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch, Casey Cott and KJ Apa were all on hand to take part in the read through of Episodes 2×01, 2×02, 2×03.

As you can see in the picture, newcomer Charles Melton was in attendance for the read, but Luke Perry and Ashleigh Murray were not. Now, we know Ashleigh is wrapping filming on her new movie, but in regards to Luke he may be there, just not featured in the picture. Due to things that occurred in the Season 1 finale, my guess is they don’t want to reveal if he is there or not as to not give away what happens to him in the premiere.

Filming on the season is set to begin tomorrow, June 22 and it will premiere on the CW this coming October!
