Sabrina Carpenter Joins The Cast Of The Hate U Give
Sabrina Carpenter has landed her next role! The young actress is set to join the cast of the new film The Hate U Give, based on the novel by Angie Thomas.
Sabrina will be joining Amandla Stenberg, Russell Hornsby and Regina Hall in this film about “a 16-year-old girl named Starr who grew up in a poverty-stricken slum, but now attends a suburban prep school. After she witnesses a police officer shoot her unarmed best friend, she’s torn between her two very different worlds as she tries to speak her truth.”
Sabrina will play one of Starr’s friends at the prep school. Production is scheduled to begin on the film later this year!
