Demi Lovato Earns Blue Belt in Jiu Jitsu

Early this morning, in a small and meaningful ceremony, @ddlovato received her blue belt in Jiu Jitsu. In the midst of holding it down for America at the #mayweathermcgregor fight, killing it at the VMA's, racking up songs on the charts, prepping for the release of #TellMeYouLoveMe, and wrapping a documentary. The talent and hustle is amazing. Your focus is incredible. So proud of you D!

Demi Lovato earned her blue belt in jiu jitsu today, August 28. Demi’s manager and friend, Phil McIntyre made the announcement earlier today via his Instagram.

Demi has had a whirlwind past couple of days with the release of her new single, “Tell Me You Love Me”, singing the National Anthem at the Mayweather vs. McGregor Fight and performing at the VMAs. The earning of her new belt must have been icing on the cake for her!

Congrats to Demi on the huge accomplishment!
