Perrie Edwards has released a statement in regards to her non-appearance at the iHeart Radio MUsic Festival this past weekend. The young singer, along with the rest of Little Mix, was supposed to take the stage at the Daytime Village on Saturday, September 23, but had to back out due to illness that led to a visit to the hospital.

In her statement, Perrie apologizes for missing the performance and stated that she wanted to perform, but was not up to it. She also thanks everyone who took care of her while she was in the hospital and updated fans on her current location.

All that matter is that she is better!
