Went whale watching with Captain Jeff and Sara from @sjiwhalewatch I made enough memories in those short 6 hours to fill a book. It was incredible. I had never seen an orca in the flesh before this trip but now I've seen it all. Little calfs riding wakes of ships, residents hunting, transients breaching. We put the hydrophone in the water to hear their calls – they were having a right good natter. It was so cool. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, they were in their natural habitat and NOT A TANK. With whale watching you never know what you're going to see – these are wild animals, but if/when you see a dorsal fin cutting through the water, it makes your experience extra special. Don't be a greedy human, respect this beautiful planet and all it has to offer. #thanksbutnotanks

Maisie Williams went whale watching off the San Juan Islands yesterday, September 26. She, her boyfriend and her friends spent their afternoon searching for Orca Whales and it looks like their trip was a success.

Maisie has been visiting the San Juan Islands for the past couple of days after spending the majority of her Summer filming her new movie, New Mutants.

I would love to go whale watching! I am so jealous that she saw Orcas.
