Ashleigh Murray Opens Up About Josie, Reggie & Riverdale In New Interview

Ashleigh Murray recently chatted about the new season of Riverdale. The young actress will be reprising her role as the fierce lead vocalist of Josie and the Pussycats, Josie McCoy, for the show’s second season.

On what fans can expect from Josie in the new season: “We’re going to see a lot more of her friendship between herself and Cheryl. We will see a bit of a breakdown in between Josie and the Pussycats. We’re also gonna see her start to test the waters with her career, possibly going solo. Things might be shaken up with her in her personal life, as well.”

On Josie’s relationship with Reggie: “I can’t really say too much other than, it’s very sexy. It’s kind of a love-hate situation. You get to see that unfold. It’s going be a lot of fun to play. Charles [Melton] is so much fun as a person. He’s even more fun to work with. You’ll be able to see that energy and that chemistry that we share on screen.”
