K.J. Apa Opens Up About Archie’s Future And Working With Camila Mendes In New Interview
K.J. Apa recently opened up about the new season of Riverdale. The hit CW show will be returning for its season two premiere on October 11. Highlights are below.
On what fans can expect from Archie this season: “After Fred [is] shot, a switch is flipped in [Archie’s] brain where he’s kind of blinded by the revenge he has for whoever shot his dad. [This] takes over everything and kind of gets in between his relationships with all his friends, and with Veronica, his girlfriend.”
On working with Camila Mendes [Veronica Lodge]: “Me and Cami are really good mates and I think the writers keep giving us more and more cool stuff to work on. I think [the storylines] kind of make [Archie and Veronica] even closer than what they were.”
On a potential music career: “I don’t think anytime soon, I’m pretty busy at the moment. But it’s definitely something that I’m interested in.”
