GRAMMY Winner Jill Scott Joins the Cast of Black Lightning

Four-time GRAMMY Award singer and actress Jill Scott has joined the cast of Black Lightning. The CW has announced that the star has joined the cast as play Lady Eve, a DC villain who can be traced back to the Kobra Cult in comic lore.

“In Black Lightning, Lady Eve will be the bridge between Tobias Whale (Marvin “Krondon” Jones III) and a secret group of corrupt leaders. Always a consummate professional, Lady Eve presents herself in Freeland as the owner of a funeral parlor, but quickly becomes an adversary to Black Lightning.”

Production is currently underway on the show, which will air during the CW’s midseason. I can’t wait to see her on the show!
