The Cast of Shadowhunters Talk Season 3 at NYCC

The cast of Shadowhunters attended New York Comic Con today, October 7. Katherine McNamara, Matthew Daddario, Isaiah Mustafa and Alisha Wainwright were all on hand to speak with fans about the third season during the panel.

Before the panel, fans were granted their first look at the upcoming third season. The new season will premiere on the network on April 3. Unlike past seasons, this new seasons will have 10 additional episodes, which will air next Summer.

It was also announced that Broadway star Javier Muñoz (‘Hamilton’) and Actress Anna Hopkins (‘Arrow’) will be ioining the cast this season; Muñoz and Hopkins will guest star in season three as two new adversaries for our Shadowhunters crew – this season’s main villain, Lilith, played by Anna Hopkins (“Arrow”) and a rival warlock for Magnus Bane played by Javier Muñoz (“Hamilton”).
