Andi Mack to Feature First Gay Character

Andi Mack is continuing to break barriers. Disney Channel has announced that Joshua Rush’s character, Cyrus will come out to his friends in the show’s second season.

Set to premiere this coming Friday, October 27, Cyrus will open up to Buffy about his feelings for their friend and Andi’s crush, Jonah. This will set off a journey of self-discovery for Cyrus for the rest of the season.

I am so happy that they are finally telling this story! I can’t wait to watch it.
