Normani Kordei took part in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event in Santa Monica this past weekend. The young lady was joined by her mother as she helped raise money for the American Cancer Society.

For those who don’t know, Normani is a Global Ambassador for the American Cancer Society. Normani has partnered with American Cancer Society for the past few years after witnessing first hand the effects breast cancer can have on someone she loves; that person being her mother.

Such an inspiring and emotional day for all involved!

Yesterday was such an AMAZING day. It made me realize how truly blessed I am and how GOD continues to shine his light upon me. Yesterday was a celebration of love for not only me but millions of women, men and children around the world who have survived or is suffering with any form of cancer. It was such an honor to be surrounded by so many people from different walks of life coming together to support a very important cause. I was so grateful to have family and friends with me to celebrate. This made the day more meaningful to me. This day also made me realize how big my daughters heart is. God is using her in a mighty way. The love and support she not only showed me but the love and support she also showed others who have been effected by cancer is truly selfless. I couldn’t be more proud. Thank You @NormaniKordei for sharing that amazing walk with me, treating me to a girls day at the spa, my edible fruit arrangement, the beautiful cancer balloons and just making your mommy feel loved and appreciated. There was never any doubt but you made sure I was reminded of it yesterday. Thank You Baby Bear❤️ I also want to say thank you to my family and friends who came out to walk and celebrate with me. You have no idea what it meant to me to have you by my side. @Miche11_ Thank you for assisting Normani and my cousin Clarise is pulling all my surprises off and for my delicious lunch. I love you as though your my own. 😘❤️ Cousin, you know how grateful to God I am to have you. No need to say more. ❤️ Love and Thanks to my loving husband and mother. Your continuous prayers, love, support and encouragement is what strengthens me. For everyone out there who’s going through this fight, please know that you are not alone.
