Lucy Hale Reveals She Almost Didn’t Take the Part of Aria in PLL

Lucy Hale opened up to Cosmopolitan about how she almost didn’t take the role of Aria on Pretty Little Liars. The show came to an end earlier this year after 7 seasons and Lucy has revealed that she almost wasn’t one of our favorite Liars.

Lucy told Cosmo, “I was offered another pilot, but my gut kept telling me to go towards Pretty Little Liars,” she says. “There was just something about that name that kept replaying in my head and I knew that that was probably the right decision to make.”

She went on to say, “It’s very easy to get excited about the glitz and glam of something, or how much you’re getting paid for something, or get distracted by who else is involved. But I think the reason I made the choice for PLL was that creatively it really excited me.”

I am so glad she did take the part, but I wonder what the other pilot was. Any theories?
