A brand new promo for 20th Century FOX’s new movie, The New Mutants has been released. This promo focuses on Charlie Heaton’s character, Sam Guthrie/Cannonbal.

In the promo, we see Sam holding, what looks to be, a piece of coal. The coal could resemble a piece from Sam’s past as his mutant powers first came to light when he was trapped in a coal mine he was working in. From the looks of it, the movie may be sticking with his comic past.

The movie will hit theaters this coming April!
