Yara Shahidi in Talks to Star in The Sun is Also a Star
Yara Shahidi is in talks to star in a new movie. The young actress is in talks to play the lead in The Sun Is Also a Star movie adaptation.
Based on the best selling book, the movie “centers on a teenage girl who falls in love with a boy 12 hours before her family is set to be deported to Jamaica.”
Fingers crossed her negotiations go through and she gets the part. I would love to see her in this movie.
