Had a phenomenal time at the Black Lightning Wrap Party! It has been an honor to be apart of making history in even the smallest ways. This was my first time on a real television set. I got to meet and stand in for one of my role models, Jill Scott and met countless others who have impacted my life. The cast and crew of Black Lightning held their Season 1 wrap party in Atlanta last night, February 24. The party was held at Tongue and Groove ATL and featured a night of celebration for all.

The entire cast and crew has been hard at work on the series since last Summer. No word on if the show has been renewed for a second season, but it is only a matter of time before it is announced. I can’t see this show not getting renewed.

Remember, a new episode of Black Lightning will air this coming Tuesday, February 27.
