Lauren Jauregui Chats Being a Solo Artist with Playboy

Lauren Jauregui sat down with Playboy to talk Fifth Harmony’s recent decision to take a break and focus on their solo careers. This is the first time Lauren has spoken out about the hiatus.

In her interview, Lauren also talked her solo music, working with Halsey, speaking up, the arts and so much more. Highlights can be found below.

On her upcoming solo music: “Right now, I’m just exploring myself and getting in touch with myself creatively. To be real, I don’t want to give myself boundaries.It’s definitely different than my work with Fifth Harmony. It’s me.”

On speaking up: “It’s so crazy how little people know about what they can do, about their rights, what they’re putting into their bodies and everything that’s going on globally. I believe that art is the core of what starts revolutions.” And her own metamorphosis? It’s just beginning.”
