Demi Lovato Calls Out Shady Ex-Friend On Twitter

Demi Lovato took to her Twitter to call out an ex-friend. Demi began her Twitter spree early yesterday, May 2, with tweets mentioning this ex-friend’s “true colors” were finally revealed and to stop “publicly shading” her. Demi’s mom jumped in to share her two cents and support her daughter.

Fans quickly began to speculate that the friend in question was her childhood best friend, Marissa, after Marissa posted a cryptic message on her social media. One of Demi’s tweets resembles one of the apparent messages left by Marissa.

Other fans noticed Demi’s sisters recently unfollowed Marissa on social media, which added more fuel to the fire. Fans are sepculating the rift between the two pals began after Demi didn’t show up for Marissa’s birthday.
