Yara Shahidi Honored At The Girls Club NY Spring Fling

Even though I had no voice, I’m so grateful to be able to share space with my peers from @girlsclubny who are going to change the world (no, I’m not exaggerating). A beautifully motivating night and a reminder of the importance of support networks and resources in opening the realm of our possibilities ✨

Yara Shahidi attended the Girls Club NY Spring Fling earlier this week. Yara was joined by Cleo Wade and Elaine Welteroth as one of this year’s honorees.

Yara has been in New York City for the past few days to attend events for the ABC & Freeform Upfronts. She spoke at this year’s Upfronts earlier this week to promote the changes coming to Freeform, where her show grown-ish airs, over the next year.
