ADVANCE PREVIEW: The Bold Type Season 2 Proves Why It’s The Perfect Summer Show
Real is the best word to describe the two-hour season premiere of The Bold Type. Last season, the finale ended with Jane leaving Scarlet and beginning a new job with Incite. Kat headed to Peru with Adena and Sutton, who maybe started things back up with Richard, is flourishing in her new job alongside Oliver.
The premiere picks up a couple of weeks after the Season 1 finale and it doesn’t miss a beat. The womens’ friendship is stronger than ever in the first two episodes and, once again, the issues they are dealing with are true to life and very much relatable. Kat and Sutton are faced with some hard-hitting issues in the first few episodes back, hopefully we see Jane tackling some dilemmas this season, too. The ending will leave you begging for next week’s episode. It is that good!
Fans of the show, you will not be disappointed with this premiere. Freeform has once again proven why this is one of the best shows on their network right now. It’s fun, sexy, and the storylines are current and realistic. It doesn’t hurt that Meghann Fahy, Aisha Dee and Katie Stevens are dynamite as Sutton, Kat and Jane, I want to be best friends with them.
