Martin Moszkowicz Gives Update on Shadowhunters’ Future

An update has surfaced regarding the fate of Shadowhunters. Earlier this Summer it was announced that Freeform would not be renewing the show for another season and the fans of the show are hoping that another network may pick the series up.

Well today, July 11, Deadline has an update on the future of the show. Producer Martin Moszkowicz revealed to the site that “…discussions are ongoing as to ‘how we can continue to bring Cassandra Clare’s vision to television.’”

The site went on to say “Moszkowicz has clarified there are talks about the two final episodes. He also adds that Constantin is in discussions with various broadcasters and platforms on Clare’s The Infernal Devices which would include Shadowhunters crossover characters.”

Fans of the series have been working their butts off trying to get the show picked up by another network including Netflix. They have donated money to different charities and bought ad space on billboards, subways and buses all over the world in hopes that a network will see just how far they are willing to go to keep the show going.
