The Ladies of The Bold Type Appear in Seventeen Magazine

The ladies of The Bold Type are featured in Seventeen Magazine. Katie Stevens, Meghann Fahy and Aisha Dee are featured in the magazine’s upcoming August/September issue.

In the issue, the girls talk how they get themselves out of funks, their words to live by, friendships, power looks and so much more. Highlights can be found below.

On how they get out of funks:

Aisha: “I’ll throw on a bop and dance it out. When life gets me down, music always picks me up again.”
Katie: I try to think about myself in the way that I think about my friends. I’d never look at them and criticize their appearances, so I shouldn’t do that to myself.”
Meghann: “First, I try not to be too judgmental of myself. I allow myself to have those feelings. And it sounds cheesy, but I write down one thing I’m grateful for. Perspective is everything!”
