BB Exclusive: Executive Producer Jeff Rake Talks his New Show, Manifest at SDCC

This past weekend, BeautifulBallad had the amazing chance to sit down with Executive Producer Jeff Rake to talk about his new show, Manifest at San Diego Comic Con. Set to air on NBC this Fall, Manifest follows Montego Air Flight 828, who after landing safely after a turbulent but routine flight find out that the world had aged five years – and their friends, families and colleagues, after mourning their loss, had given up hope and moved on.

Now, faced with the impossible, they’re all given a second chance. But as their new realities become clear, a deeper mystery unfolds and some of the returned passengers soon realize they may be meant for something greater than they ever thought possible.

During our interview, Jeff talked how he came up with the idea for the series, what fans can expect from the first season, the characters, science vs. religion and so much more.

I really enjoyed the pilot of this show. This will be a must watch for us and hopefully a must watch for you guys this Fall.
