BB Exclusive: Salim Akil and Mara Brock Akil Discuss Black Lightning At SDCC 2018

The series creators of Black Lightning, Salim Akil and Mara Brock Akil, visited San Diego Comic Con this past weekend. The amazing duo was on hand to discuss the upcoming second season when Beautiful Ballad caught up with them for a chat.

During the interview, the pair spoke about the themes that will be prominent during the second season. They also spoke about how the first season really changed the game in regards to storytelling and the challenges they will face in the new season.
