Zendaya Offered The Role Of Ariel In Disney’s Live Action Little Mermaid?
Zendaya may have landed her next role! The young actress has apparently been offered the role of Ariel in Disney’s upcoming live action version of The Little Mermaid.
According to The Hashtag Show, they have “heard from someone close to the studio that ex-Disney Channel star Zendaya has been offered the leading role of Ariel. Disney and reps for Zendaya declined to comment.”
Even thought nothing has been confirmed, this choice would not be surprising at all. Fans do know though that songwriter and composer Alan Menken will be teaming up with Lin Miranda will to compose the music while director Rob Marshall is set to direct a script by Jane Goldman.
